Grassroots are the majority - the 99%, the people, la raza - whose labour sustains society and who have worked, protested and fought for ages to have their human rights established, upheld and protected. This includes the rights to food, clean water, healthcare, education, dignity and protection under the law.
Grassroots movements have worked throughout history to lift generations out of tyranny, poverty and inequality.
When we act together, with common purpose and the will to improve life and protect the people, the earth, and all living beings, we have an incomparable power that cannot be overlooked.
The Grassroots Evolution is a creative project which explores how collective action, unfettered imagination, and purposeful innovation can regenerate our relationship with one another and with the Earth, re-writing the playbook and shaping a more just and equitable future for all.
